Take a fly-over of Pieridae Energy's site in Nova Scotia where it will build a US$8 billion liquefied natural gas export facility. The project will be located 250 kilometers northeast of Halifax near the tiny community of Goldboro. It would be the province's largest-ever mega-project, putting 3,500 men and women to work during construction, and creating 200 permanent jobs once the facility is up and running. It also means jobs in Alberta - potentially 1,000 to start as Pieridae needs to drill wells on reserves it owns to supply Goldboro with a large amount of natural gas from the Foothills. This is our country's only truly all-Canadian project, designed to open up global markets for Canadian natural gas.
